Quality above all else
Mil Frutas ice creams are made the old fashioned way, at their Rio de Janeiro factory, under rigid quality control, that, for the last ten years, has been conducted by the group led by microbiologist Alexandre Adler (Silo Laboratory). Sorbets are made solely from pure fruits, sugar and water. Creamy flavors contain milk, eggs and fresh heavy cream. Nothing else. Mil Frutas ice creams contain absolutely no hydrogenated fat or any type of colorings. As a matter of respect for our customers, the menu follows the seasons in which each fruit appears.
 
Swabs are taken from employees hands each month to avoid any type of contamination. This procedure is to ensure that they are working under perfect conditions of hygiene and attests to the fact that "they know how to wash their hands".
