The Ipanema shop is different from all of the other Mil Frutas shops It serves coffee, sandwiches, wraps, salads, pies and quiches, as well as ice cream. Under the command of Paula Saboya and Flávia Barbará, Mil Frutas Café offers a menu that while compact, is full of delicacies. The Festival Mil Sopas (Thousand Soups Festival) takes place in the months of July and August, starting in 2002. They serve a very hefty breakfast on the weekends. The location is simple and informal and the tables on the sidewalk complete the relaxed atmosphere of the café.
